Camp Rules & Expectations
Please review the updated 2025 rules with your child before you register them.
A. General Conduct & Islamic Etiquette
1. Campers are expected to observe proper Islamic behavior and dress code at all times.
- Special attention should be given to prayer times, Quran and Islamic session.
- Campers are expected to maintain personal hygiene and keep their sleeping areas tidy.
- Campers are required to adhere to Islamic Dress Code; see below.
2. Respect for the wellbeing of all individuals—including fellow campers, counselors, staff, cooks, and visitors--is mandatory.
- Bullying, pranks, aggressive behavior, or any harm to people or their belongings will not be tolerated.
3. Campers must respect quiet hours and lights-out times as set by the camp schedule.
- Disruptions at night affect everyone’s experience and rest and will not be tolerated.
4. If a camper has any concern about their own or someone else's wellbeing, they should report their concern to staff immediately.
- Campers will be introduced to all staff including senior leadership, lifeguards, and nurses.
B. Safety Rules
1. Water safety is critical.
- Campers must always follow lifeguards’ instructions immediately and seriously.
- No camper may go near or into water, or use any watercraft, without staff supervision and a lifeguard present.
2. Campers must stay with their assigned group at all times unless given explicit permission by their group counselor.
3. No camper may leave the campgrounds without the direct permission of the Camp Director.
4. Campers must follow all public health and safety guidelines as outlined by the camp and authorities.
5. Visitors are not allowed at camp unless they have received direct approval from the Camp Director.
6. In the event emergency protocols are initiated, campers must follow staff instructions quickly and seriously during any drill or real emergency.
C. Prohibited Items
Campers must not bring any of the following item categories to camp:
1. Smartphones, cellphones, tablets, MP3/media players, radios, or similar electronic devices.
2. Dangerous or hazardous items, such as but not limited to blades, weapons of any kind, fireworks, laser pointers, permanent markers, spray paint etc, etc.
3. Smoking, vaping, and the use or possession of any prohibited, illicit or illegal substances is strictly forbidden.
4. Food, candy, or snacks—especially anything containing allergens such as peanuts nuts etc.
Note: Any prohibited items brought to camp will be confiscated, return of which may not be guaranteed at the end of camp.
D. Participation & Permissions
1. Campers are expected to fully participate in all scheduled camp programs and activities.
2. Camp equipment may only be used with staff permission and supervision. Any damage resulting from unauthorized use or intentional misuse of equipment will be the responsibility of the camper and/or their family.
3. Campers will be required to perform chores such as cleaning up after meals, washing dishes in the dishwasher, maintaining cabin and washroom cleanliness.
Note: Campers are discouraged from bringing any valuables including money (there is nothing to buy for miles around)
CAMPERS WILL BE SENT HOME IF THEY DO NOT COMLY WITH ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS.
Immediate action will be taken for particularly egregious offences.
Fees are nonrefundable.

Things To Bring
Information about mosquitoes and mosquito-borne illnesses. Information about tickets and tick-borne illnesses. Please ensure that your child(ren) can identify his or her clothing. Every year we have to dispose of the forgotten clothing. |
Dress Code
- Proper Islamic dress for boys is pants below the knee and sleeved shirts.
- Proper Islamic dress for girls is long pants/skirt, long sleeve shirt/blouse and a hijab.
